Mary Of Bethany

Yesterday, Pastor Craig highlighted the life of Mary of Bethany — a woman mentioned only three times in Scripture, yet marked by extraordinary devotion.

She chose presence over performance, sat at Jesus’ feet in both grief and gratitude, and poured out her most valuable possession in extravagant worship. Even when she didn’t understand what God was doing, she stayed close.

Her story is a powerful call to choose the “one thing,” trust Him in the tension, and give Him our whole hearts.

Only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.
