First Week of Advent: Hope in the Lord

 This week, Elders David and Natalie Gilbert opened our Advent season by reminding us of the unshakable hope we have in the Lord. As we lit the first Advent candle, they guided us through Scripture to reflect on God’s faithfulness throughout every season. In a world longing for light, we are invited to anchor our hearts in the promise of Jesus—the One who came, who is present with us now, and who will come again. May this Advent begin with renewed hope as we wait with expectation and trust in our faithful God.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him,
and He will make straight your paths."

Proverbs 3:5-6
