Third Week of Advent: JOY

This Advent sermon focused on Joy, challenging us to see joy not as a feeling tied to perfect circumstances, but as the presence of God in the midst of uncertainty. In seasons of waiting, doubt, and unanswered questions, God’s nearness is what sustains true joy.

Pastor Craig described joy as an inward peace and sufficiency that remains steady despite outward circumstances. Unlike happiness, which depends on what’s happening around us, joy is rooted in our relationship with God—resilient, trustworthy, and grounded in the assurance that He is with us and at work in every season.
