Craig devoted this sermon to the mothers of the Bible and listed several who stand out as honorable and those we can look to as examples of good mothers.

Guest speaker, John Hinckley, shared from John 10:1-10, the Scripture where Jesus used sheep to compare us with and how we relate to the Shepherd.

Today's message is entitled 'Focus'. Craig chose to compare significance with success, and used the life of Solomon to show how someone can have the most successful life and yet lack significance. He leaves us with the thought: "Will I be Christ-centered or self-centered?"

Craig chose the topic of 'Confidence' for this week's sermon and lists several examples of different areas we can be confident of in our walk with the Lord.

Warren Groves, one of Wellspring's overseers, spoke this Sunday on the subject of success, in the context of our prayers for healing for both ourselves and others.

Craig opened his sermon by quoting from some very well-known people about the resurrection of Jesus and how there is so much evidence to support it. He then uses the Scriptures from Luke 24 to highlight Jesus' resurrection and His meeting after with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus.

Craig continued his sermon on 'Margins' but took it to a higher level by laying out who is affected when we are too busy. He then gave some ways in which we can make changes in that part of our lives and create those 'margins' that we so desperately need.

Guest speaker, Kevin Collins, who is the leader of the Christian Union group on Dartmouth Campus, spoke on the continuing theme of Discipleship, but he tied it in with community and the effect that community has on our lives as Christians and even before we become Christians.

This Sunday's sermon dovetails from the last 2 weeks' sermons, where Craig expounded on discipleship and our roles as believers, but this week he gives several examples from Scripture how Jesus made room for alone time and His need for that, and the importance of modeling our lives after Jesus in this.

In this 2nd part of Craig's sermon on Discipleship, he focuses on the six aspects of discipleship and what our roles are in it.

This week's sermon focuses on the path that every person takes just before becoming a Christian and right after. Craig shares many insights into what leads us to the Lord and the path we take once we have made that decision.

Guest speakers, Jerry and Judy Ball, were invited to the Dartmouth Campus to speak and also spoke at Wellspring Sunday morning. Their ministry, "Breaker of Dawn", which can be found at http://breakerofdawn.com/ is out of North Carolina. Jerry spoke on the blessing of the Father and Judy spoke on deliverance from our "giants".

Craig began this sermon by reading an excerpt written by Justin Martyr, written in 150 AD, describing a 'church' service during his era. Many people have written books saying that the early church services were very different from the church services we have now, but this writing describes a typical church service as being very much like what we have now. Craig also gives 7 reasons, including Scripture references, why we should go to church.

Craig shares 4 different keys to our spiritual growth, using well known Scriptures to highlight each one.

Bob Gerlack, long time member of Wellspring Worship Center, gave a sermon on success, sharing his testimony as well as his own life experiences with being successful in God's eyes, as well as man's.

Craig uses many Scriptures to emphasize the point of this sermon: the tongue. He then compares the faith of Abraham to the faith of Thomas, the disciple commonly known as "Doubting Thomas". He shares a very insightful statement: we want the blessings of Abraham but with just the faith of Thomas.

Craig continues speaking about our words and the power they hold in our lives. He gives a brief lesson on the word "confess" and its meaning from the Greek homologeo, which means "same words": speaking the same words as someone else. He relates that to the use of our words and the importance of speaking the same words as God speaks, and the power that brings to us. At the end, he shares 5 things that are important for us to speak.

This sermon expounds on the words we use from last week's sermon, but Craig focuses more on the positive confessions we make and how that can grow and enlarge our faith and allow us to see God move in even greater ways.

Craig added Part 2 to last week's sermon on meditating on the Word of God, but this week he emphasizes how important it is for us to speak positively in every area of our lives. He uses the story in the Old Testament of the Hebrew people leaving Egypt and how their grumbling and complaining kept most of them out of the Promised Land. He then shares several passages from Proverbs that speaks of the power found in our words.

The sermon this Sunday focuses on meditating on the Word of God, how we find success in doing that, and all the benefits involved with that.

Craig continues preaching on our inheritance and the battle we wage every day to hold onto the promises of God. He shares several Scriptures about the believers' "favor" from God, and how important it is for us to hold onto those promises spoken of in those Scriptures.

Craig preaches a very inspiring sermon on our rights as "Kingdom people" and what it means to claim our inheritance. He also shares some insight into how we can obtain our inheritance and how the word "promise" is used in the Scriptures in Galatians 3:18 "God gave the inheritance to Abraham through a promise."

In this week's sermon, Craig shares 5 different aspects on worshipers and how they relate to our relationship with the Lord. He speaks on how we go from being a "consumer" kind of worshiper to "being consumed".

David Norton, one of the guest ministers at our Prophetic Conference, preached about the life of Paul and the great calling on his life. He centers on the heavenly vision that is given to all believers and being obedient to that calling.

Jeff Johns presents Part 2 of his inspiring sermon on faith, on this last day of the Prophetic Conference.

This second night of the Prophetic Conference, Jeff Johns gives an energetic sermon on our faith and the need to think bigger than we ever have, if we're going to move mountains.

This first night of our 2011 Prophetic Conference, Bill Norton started the series off with his sermon on The Secret Place. Bill shares the importance of spending time with the Lord.

Bill Norton, one of Wellspring Worship Center's overseers, preached on prophecy and the importance of prophecy in our lives today. This was great preparation for the upcoming Prophetic conference at Wellspring, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, November 16th, 17th, and 18th.

From the beginning of time, there has been a battle between the devil and worship. God wants us to worship Him and Him alone. All believers need to recognize the battle we face and know that God has equipped us with what we need to win!

This sermon focuses mainly on the the victory we have as Believers in Christ, and how and where we view ourselves. Craig uses Scripture that explains our position as sons and daughters of the Most High God and the authority that He gives us to be "the head and not the tail".

Craig preached on having a victorious life, using Scriptures such as Romans 8: 35-37 where Paul speaks of being more than conquerors, and other Scriptures where he speaks on triumph and victory.

Craig preached from the Scripture, beginning in Acts 27, where Paul is on a ship bound for Rome when they run into a hurricane and almost lose everything in the height of the storm. He shows how God can use something so devastating to bring people into His Kingdom, but He also emphasizes the importance of staying strong in our faith in God and not giving in to fear.

Warren Groves, one of the overseers for Wellspring Worship Center, spoke on the authority in the church and what it should look like, basing it on the passage in Ephesians 4 where Paul is instructing the Church on how to live as Christians, pleasing to the Lord, and how leaders are given to the Church to equip and build up the body of Christ.

Lee Grady, former editor of Charisma Magazine, preached from the book of 1 Samuel, chapter 30. He chose this passage to emphasize how important it is to praise God even in the midst of great sorrow and pain. He also shared several of the Psalms that David wrote and used them as examples of praise.

Special guest speaker this Sunday - The Honorable Gregory Slayton. Professor, diplomat, author, businessman, philanthropist and former United States Consul General to Bermuda. Currently an Adjunct Professor of Business Administration at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. Gregory chose a subject that is well known to all of us: failure; but he spoke on how even in our failures and shortcomings we can have victory as long as we have one key ingredient: holiness.

Craig chose the life of David and his falling into temptation as the backdrop for his sermon on overcoming temptation. He also shared some keys on how to overcome when you are confronted with temptation.

Craig is preaching on the Kingdom of God and our need to know Jesus. He shares a compilation of different ideas about the Kingdom and stories from the Word that reflect our need for Jesus.

In this sermon on forgiveness, Craig highlights the well-known Scripture from Matthew 18, where the servant's debt is canceled and yet he is not so willing to cancel a debt owed to him.

This is Part 2 in Craig's sermon on forgiveness, lessons from Joseph. He took some time to answer some questions that he had received after the sermon on the 14th.

Craig's topic this Sunday was on forgiveness, using the life of Joseph as his example. He encouraged people to not hold onto offenses, which can create an open door for the devil into our lives. He then gave 6 ways we can know if we have truly forgiven an offense.

Craig asks the important question: Who we are listening to - God or the accuser of the brethren? Step-by-step, he outlines the importance of knowing God's voice and only listening to Him, rather than the condemnation and accusation of our enemy, the devil.

In Part 2, Craig adds the 3 other 'streams' that flow into the 'River of God', listing their strengths and weaknesses.

This is Part 1 of a 2 part series, focusing on the many streams of God that flow into the one River of God. This week Craig focuses on 3 'streams': The Prayer-Filled Life, The Holiness or Virtuous Life, and the Charismatic or Spirit-Filled Life. Next week he will focus on 3 more 'streams'.

This sermon focuses on the scripture from John 15, where Jesus is speaking to His disciples about abiding and resting in God. Craig showed a picture of what a grapevine typically looks like and how important it is for the branches to stay connected to the vine. He takes time to explain the process of pruning and the importance of this act in the care and growth of a grapevine, relating it to each of our relationships to the Lord.

Chris Hultquist, youth pastor at Wellspring Worship Center, speaks on community living and why we do what we do as Christians. He gives several examples from his life and from others that he looks up to and relates that to his topic.

Ben Woodward, native of Australia and based out of Kansas City, was the guest speaker and also led worship at Wellspring over the weekend. His main topic was our relationship with Jesus and the difference between Christianity and religions of the world, relationship vs. ritual. He then spoke from the Scripture in Mark 12:29, where Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was and His response, and then taught on what it means to love the Lord God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind.

Craig begins his preaching with the story of Jesus' disciples walking on the road to Emmaus when they encounter Jesus. They are downcast and discouraged by His recent death, not knowing they were actually speaking to the Resurrected Christ, and how He brought hope back into their situations by revealing Himself to them. Craig also refers back to his previous teaching on how Jesus referred to His disciples as His friends and no longer His servants, and how that relates to bringing hope back to an otherwise discouraged life.

The sermon today is centered around being called a friend of God. Craig shares 3 main Scriptures that refer to Abraham as a 'friend of God': James 2:23; 2 Chron. 20:7; and Is. 41:8. But he also shares many other Scriptures where certain people are referred to as a 'friend of God' and how Jesus spoke in John 15:15 as His disciples going from being His servants to becoming His friends where He draws them close and reveals His deeper thoughts to.

Craig shares a very insightful message on giving, with an emphasis on tithing. He shares several Scriptures from the Old and New Testament that speak to this very important issue.

Guest speaker, Brad Keller, pastor of the Journey Church in South Royalton, VT, spoke about change and what we encounter when we move forward with the Lord. He gave a check list of 5 different questions we could ask ourselves when we take new territory. This is a very inspiring word for Wellspring and all who listen to it.

Taken from the Scripture in Luke 19:1-10, Craig uses the example of the story of Zaccheus and how his life was changed when Jesus spoke to him that day, not pointing out his faults but showing him how much He wanted to be a part of his life. That day, Zaccheus was given an open window into the Kingdom and his life was forever changed.

Craig shares directly from 2 Kings 13: 14-19 where he felt that the Lord had a specific word to Wellspring. It's the story of King Joash and Elisha, where Elisha gives Joash a directive for winning the battles with Israel's enemies. It is a good lesson on endurance and perseverance, to want the complete victory and not just partial breakthroughs!

Craig's message today is based on the influences from certain mothers in the Bible, but also from other influences around us and how they affect us in life.

Craig's message today is based around the Scripture from 1Kings 18, where Elijah prophesies 'no rain' and then after three years, prophesies that rain is coming. But he doesn't just prophesy it - he prays (births) it into being! Craig shares in this message that he feels God wants to do something new in our midst, but it's important for us to agree with His will and pray (birth) it into being.

Craig's Easter message was centered around the premise that whatever God begins in us, He WILL bring it to completion. He used many examples from Jesus' earthly life, as well as the life of Abraham. Abraham had received the promise of a son but decided to take measures into his own hands, and yet God still fulfilled His promise to Abraham. Even when we are not faithful, He is!

Bill Norton, one of Wellspring's overseers, preached on praying in the Spirit and shared several Scriptures that talk about this subject. He shared the importance of using this gift to create an atmosphere for God to move and speak to us, both on a personal level as well as corporately.

Part 6 of the Gospel of Mark series is all about "Hearing God Through the Bible". Craig gives 7 examples of how we can hear from God. Though not an exhaustive list, these are some of the more common ways that God speaks to His people.

Part 5 of the Gospel of Mark series is centered around the theme: The Endurance of Christ. Craig uses several illustrations from the gospels, as well as the epistles, where Jesus had to endure many trials while on this earth, culminating in the cross - the biggest trial of all. He ends with this important Scripture about endurance from James 1: 2-4, "... knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."

Ted Olbrich from Cambodia shares some stories from his ministry in Cambodia. Ted is a church planter and instrumental in establishing orphanages in Cambodia and other countries around the world. Wellspring supports financially and in prayer an orphanage in Cambodia that Ted oversees through an organization called Warm Blankets Orphan Care International, based out of Illinois.

This week's sermon focuses primarily on the relationship that God desires to have with us and how He yearns for us to know Him better. Within the message, Craig clearly gives the simple call for salvation to all who desire to know God and be loved by Him.

Craig highlights the parable of the sower from Mark 4 in today's sermon, focusing on the verse that describes the good soil where Jesus said, "Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit." He, then, gave examples of others in the Bible who displayed the same sort of character that heard the Lord and accepted what He said, and then became fruitful.

This week Craig focused his teaching from the Gospel of Mark around the two words "Forgiveness and Healing" and shared the various Scriptures found in the Bible that speak of those two words in the same manner. He compared the two stories found in Luke's Gospel chapter 7 and chapter 8 where Jesus stated "your faith has saved you" and "your faith has healed you" and how we don't question someone being saved once they have asked for God's forgiveness, and yet so many people question whether someone has been healed after they have asked for God to heal them.

Wellspring will be reading in the Gospel of Mark for the next few weeks and Craig begins his series from this book, recounting all the healings and miracles that Jesus began His ministry with. He focuses mainly on Chapter 1 in this sermon, encouraging people to read through these chapters slowly. He reminds people that Mark condenses each particular event, using mostly short stories to tell of each situation that Jesus encountered, rather than writing out everything in great detail.

Warren wraps up his teaching on Deliverance by clearing up some frequently asked questions concerning affliction and adversity as it relates to us as Christians. He emphasizes at the beginning that God's plan has always been to set us free so that we can in turn set others free and bring God's Kingdom here onto the earth.

Warren Groves, one of the overseers of Wellspring Worship Center, spoke on Deliverance and Setting the Captives free. Thursday night's meeting was not recorded, but on this night Warren recaps what he spoke about on Thursday first and then continues with his teaching. Warren and his wife, Rachel, reside in Yuba City, CA. He was an elder at this church several years ago before moving to CA.

Genesis 32:22-24 was the Scripture Craig used to base this week's sermon on, where Jacob encountered God at Peniel "face to face". He related how Jacob wrestled with God and was changed, and that in our encounters with God we will be changed also. God initiates these face to face encounters because He desires that kind of intimacy with us. When we want someone to really understand what we are saying, we want them to look us right in the eyes, and that is how God wants to speak to us also. If we will allow Him to do that, we will be changed.

Craig takes a few minutes to explain the concept of fasting, as Wellspring is in the beginning of a 21-day fast. He then begins his sermon on our identity and how our faith plays a big role in that, using Abraham and his walk of faith. He also gives Moses as an example of someone who had to walk by faith and couldn't rely on his natural strengths, as he led the Israelites out of Egypt.

This is part 2 of the sermon that Craig gave last week on our identity as it relates to Christ. He uses the topic of the Prodigal Son to show how much love the Father has for us and encourages us to look at that story as a picture of how loving and forgiving our Father is.

This week Craig wanted to emphasize the believers' citizenship in the Kingdom of God by sharing several Scriptures that speak on this subject. Ephesians 2:19 and Philippians 3:20 are two of the many Scriptures he used to do this. He shared that if you were wanting to know what a certain country's culture was like, you would visit someone from there first and their homes would reflect that culture. In the same way, our lives, as well as our homes, should reflect what the culture of the Kingdom of God is like.

Craig illustrates with various Scriptures how the difficulties we encounter in this life are always used toward our good and emphasizes the importance of looking at them with the "the eyes of Christ".

Craig uses the Word of God to emphasize the importance of knowing what our identity is in Christ and making sure that our focus is on what the Word says and not our feelings.

With the new year ahead of us, Craig gives an amazing message about transitioning ourselves from where we were to the place that is to come. He centers the message around the 21st chapter of John, where the disciples are in a time of transition. He deals with 4 issues of transition: Change, Ownership, Intimacy, and the Heart; and gives some great insights into how to deal with each one.

With it being the Sunday following Christmas, Craig gave a wonderful Christmas message about its true meaning and how powerful the name God gave to His Son, Jesus: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, as described in Isaiah 9:6.

Craig gives several examples of the difference between operating under the Law vs. operating under Grace. He highlights the many Scriptures that speak of our identity and what God says about us, using the modern day theme of how our identities get stolen, but how our identities in Christ can never be stolen unless we allow that to happen.

Craig reviews Parts 1 and 2 of his sermon on Conflicts, using several Scriptures that speak about conflict and the inevitability of it in our lives. He then focuses on the importance of forgiveness and the 4 steps to remember once you have forgiven someone who has offended you.

In Part 2, Craig gives some excellent tools for dealing with the conflict that the Bible says is inevitable in our lives.

Craig speaks on conflicts in our every day lives and the 5 different approaches to them.

This week, Craig takes the story from 2 Kings where Elisha and his servant, surrounded by their enemies, are allowed to see into the spiritual realm the host of angels there protecting them, and how we can have the same spiritual sight given to us in our everyday lives. He expounds on Psalm 91 and reveals the great protection God has for us as believers.

Craig takes the life of the 2 prophets, Elijah and Elisha, and uses them as a contrast of the extremes in our lives and shows the importance of living a balanced life, which leads to a healthy life.

David Norton, visiting pastor from Romania, adds more to what he had preached about on Friday night, declaring the importance of being a supernatural church, recognizing that all the power and the glory comes from the Holy Spirit and not from our own works. He later lists 6 keys that a supernatural church possesses.

David Norton, visiting from Romania, speaks about the glory of God and how He allows us to partner with His Holy Spirit to do mighty works on the earth, but we must always remember Whose work it is.

Craig takes a look this week at 1 Kings from a different perspective. He uses the example from the lives of King Ahab and his wife Jezebel, pointing out their weaknesses (one being passive, one being aggressive), to show how detrimental both of those lifestyles can be. He also asks the important question, "What Defines Us?" and reveals some important qualities that all Christians can have in their lives.

Tim Pillsbury, longtime member of Wellspring Worship Center, preaches from The Lord's Prayer, focusing on the miracles Jesus' performed and how they relate to the phrase from the Lord's Prayer, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven".

In this next sermon from 1 Kings, Craig highlights the life of Elijah and how God used him during that time period as well as in the life of the disciples of Jesus.

This is Part 2 of our 1 Kings series. Once again, Craig brings an insightful message based in the book of 1 Kings, adding numerous other Scriptures from the New Testament as well.

Craig begins the 1 Kings series by highlighting Scriptures that talk about the Word of God and its importance in our lives. He uses Solomon's prayer in chapter 8, along with several New Testament Scriptures to do this.

Craig added "Part 2" to his sermon from last week and gave more insight into seeing things from God's perspective.

Visiting prophet, Phil Rich, shares some amazing insights about the gift of speaking in tongues and how important it is in the life of every believer.

Craig defines what it means to be a "citizen" of the Kingdom of God and how we should relate to the world around us.

Craig takes a second look at what it means to be an emotionally healthy Christian in the world we live in today. He takes some highlights from the book "The Emotionally Healthy Church" by Peter Scazzero.

Deb Tunney, co-director of YWAM Boston, gives a very direct sermon on making sure that we make our lives count and not waste a moment.

Craig shares some insights on the subject of being emotionally healthy and how it relates to our role as Christians. He also highlights the different stages of emotional health: Emotional Infant, Emotional Child, Emotional Adolescent, Emotional Adult.

In our Final week in the Old Testament Book of Numbers, we see how important the principle of Rest is both for our bodies and for our souls.

Continuing in the Old Testament Book of Numbers, we see how fear controlled the Israelites and how it particularly kept them from a deeper relationship with God.

Continuing in the Old Testament Book of Numbers with the story of Balaam, we see how important it is to be focused-not on our DOING but on our BEING.

The term "church" has various definitions but when Jesus declared, "I will build My church", He was revealing several things to us. In today's message, we learn the Biblical characteristics of a local church and the Church around the globe.

In reading through the Old Testament Book of Numbers, we see how important our outlook regarding ourselves and our future is. It is also vitally important to maintain a proper outlook of God and His faithfulness. Many times our outlook on these issues either holds us back or catapults us into our future.

The Christian life was never meant to be lived out in an antiquated or stale way. Psalm 92 tells us that God has fresh oil for us as we allow Him to bring the necessary changes in our lives. This week we started reading the Old Testament book of Numbers. We find that God calls us to bear different burdens we may not always understand nor fully comprehend. We learn that God is faithful to relieve us of these burdens at the proper time.

We all need regular encouragement and many times that encouragement comes in the form of a person speaking into our lives. Learn how we can defeat discouragement by speaking out words of hope.

Guest minister Patti Amsden reveals how altars in the Bible represent getting in touch with God. For Christians today, the 'altars' of prayer, worship, and faith need to continually be tended and not allowed to fall into disrepair.

We cannot personally know a historical figure who is dead and in the grave. Jesus of Nazareth died and went to the grave, but only remained dead for three days. Since He is alive today, we can know Him and have a personal relationship with Him.

Earthly kings enter their royal city, are seated on their throne, and rule their kingdom. Jesus of Nazareth entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to take up His throne on a cross. From that cross, He rules a Kingdom that will never end.

During Jesus earthly ministry, He told the disciples they were going to the 'other side' of the lake. In the process of getting there, circumstances arose that looked to prevent them from ever making it. In our own lives, there are also challenges and dilemmas on the journey to the 'other side', but Jesus will ultimately get us there.

As we look into the book of Matthew, we find that Jesus was tempted to worship the devil and not God. As human beings, we are made to be worshippers and when we do not worship our creator, we are heading down the wrong path.

Ultimately, fear can keep us from obeying God. Today we examine some steps that Biblical hero's took to obey God in the face of fear.

The book of Isaiah commands us again and again not to fear. Today's teaching focuses on identifying and conquering fears in our lives that hold us back from accomplishing all that God has for us.

The book of Isaiah uses many metaphors to describe who believers are as the people of God-everything from an inanimate piece of pottery molded by God to the beautiful and glorious bride of Christ.

Many of the hero's in the Bible engaged in fasting as a means of seeking God. Pastor Craig examines the benefits but we also considers some of the pitfalls of fasting.

The 58th chapter in the book of Isaiah describes some of the spiritual benefits to fasting. Pastor Craig discusses twelve of these benefits, which include healing, continual guidance, satisfaction, refreshment and restoration.

Jesus tells us that some issues in life require times of prayer and fasting. As Wellspring begins 21 days of fasting, we will look into God's Word for direction during the fast.
